Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh got divorced from each other in the year 2004. According to media reports, after the divorce, Amrita Singh had asked for a huge amount from Saif Ali Khan as an alimony, for which the younger Nawab of Pataudi family had lost their sweat.

After the divorce, Saif Ali Khan made many revelations about Amrita Singh. According to reports, Amrita Singh had asked Saif Ali Khan for an alimony of Rs 5 crore for divorce and also Saif was to pay Amrita Rs 1 lakh every month till her son Ibrahim turned 18.
A year after the divorce i.e. in 2005, Saif Ali Khan had told in an interview, “I have given Rs 2.5 crore to Amrita and I will pay her the rest of the money. I will pay Amrita every month till my son turns 18. I am not Shahrukh Khan and neither do I have that much money. I have promised Amrita to pay all the money and I will definitely give it to her no matter what happens.” Please tell that Saif Ali Khan had paid the alimony amount to Amrita Singh in two installments.
Amrita Singh did not allow her to meet children
Saif Ali Khan had accused Amrita in the interview and said that she does not allow her to meet her two children (Sara and Ibrahim). Saif had said that he misses the children a lot, but he was not allowed to meet his children.
