Akshay Kumar’s ‘Puppet’ remake of Tamil film
Sargun Mehta has made her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh’s film ‘Kathputli’. Directed by Ranjit M Tiwari, the film is being produced under the family banner Pooja Entertainment by Jackky Bhagnani and Dipshikha Deshmukh. ‘Katputli’ is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Ratsasan’. Significantly, three films of Akshay Kumar have been released this year. ‘Bachchan Pandey’ released in March, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ in June and ‘Raksha Bandhan’ in August. All these three films did not do well at the box office.
