Shamshera Movie Review: bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt And Vaani Kapoor starrer director Karan Malhotra The film Shamshera finally reached the cinema hall. There was a huge craze among the audience about this film. Ranbir Kapoor is in double role in the film. That is, Ranbir’s fans have got double the fun. The story of the film is a dacoit drama. Which reminds me of the 70s, 80s and 90s. This old age drama has been presented by director Karan Malhotra by making it spicy according to the new century. So how is this film, adorned with stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. To know this read the full review here. What is the story?

Shamshera/Bally (Ranbir Kapoor) is the messiah of his tribe, who was abandoned by the upper caste goons of the British because of being from a low caste. He once again fights for his people against the British and corrupt Indian police officers such as Daroga Shuddh Singh (Sanjay Dutt) to save his father’s legacy and society from embarrassment. What’s special?

Ranbir Kapoor’s film Shamshera is reminiscent of the films made on the world of the best dacoits of the 60s, 70s and 80s. In this, many old memories have been presented in a new way. The film’s writer-director Karan Malhotra and his co-writers have presented these nostalgia in a completely new way. Which will attract the audience of all classes. The film has many attractions including Ranbir Kapoor’s acting, Sanjay Dutt’s dialogue delivery, Vaani Kapoor’s sizzling dance. Which is enough to captivate the audience. Ronit Roy and Saurabh Shukla have also played their characters well in the film. Also, the clash of Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor in the climax is also worth watching. Where is the lack?

Shamshera has started on a much larger scale. The introduction itself takes 10-15 minutes whereas it could have been reduced to 8-10 minutes. The music of the film also disappoints you. Apart from Fitoor, no other song succeeds in making an impression on the audience. The main point of the film is the robbery of dacoit Ranbir Kapoor. Which could have been made better. This part has the power to connect the film with the further story and characters. Also, director Karan Malhotra should have brought some big scenes in the film apart from the interval and climax. Which would have managed to captivate the audience. Especially when many such tremendous scenes in South cinematic films RRR and Pushpa impressed the audience. The film runs well till the first half. Whereas in the second half it seems to derail. After leaving the scenes on a high note in the interval, the start of the second half is very sluggish which again takes about 30 minutes to create the atmosphere.

BL’s decision

The first half of Shamshera is quite entertaining, which breaks due to a good interval. In the second half, things take a long time to reach a high note again. Ranbir Kapoor is playing a double role for the first time. While Sanjay Dutt has also enthralled and entertained the audience. Full 3 stars to the film from Bollywood Life
